Cosy Attic Room - bills inc, short walk from MOD

This light and airy attic is a good sized double room offering a comfortable stay. A stones throw from Corsham MOD, close to Corsham Court and Bath and within easy reach of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the sought after village of Neston, the house is in part a 19th century cottage with open beams and original features. I am looking for a Monday-Friday lodger. I sometimes work at home during the day but I’m frequently out during the evenings so you would often have the house to yourself.

The Room:
Characterful and cozy, being tucked away in the attic you will have a sense of privacy. The room is equipped with the following facilities to ensure that you have as comfortable a stay as possible:
- A comfortable double bed
- Central heating
- Towels
- Kettle
- TV/DVD
- Selection of book and DVDs
- Full length mirror
- Hairdryer
- Table/desk and chair within reach of plug sockets
- Hangers, hooks, a trunk and a bedside cabinet for storage

General Amenities:
- Wifi available
- Plenty of free on-street parking
- Access to an iron
- Use of the washing machine but please bare in mind that I have no tumble dryer so leave plenty of time for drying.

Shared Areas
The bathroom - includes a shower and jacuzzi bath. If you are on a tight schedule and need to shower at a certain time then just let me know and I'll make sure it is all yours.
The kitchen - you will have access to your own cupboard and a shelf in the fridge. You are welcome to use the kitchen as your own, all I ask is that you leave it as you find it.
The garden - the garden is set back from the house. It is small but perfectly formed - a great place to enjoy a meal on a sunny day.

Smokers are welcome but please note that there is no smoking in the house.

Due to the age of the building I am unable to offer disabled access.

Getting Around
There is plenty of free on-street parking. Corsham MOD is only a 2 minute walk away so if you are a contractor looking for a place to stay this is the ideal location. The house is a short bus ride from Corsham Court so it is well located if you are attending a course/meeting. Just a 15 minute walk away the bus stop at Leafy Lane is on the x31 route between Chippenham and Bath. Chippenham is within a 20 minute drive and has a mainline station with regular trains to a range of locations including Bath, Bristol and London. Local taxi firms are available for use between 04.00-00.00 Sunday-Thursday and 24hrs Friday-Saturday. For a small village Neston has a good public transport system, with links to the local towns/city.
