The house is in a rural location, surrounded by land and horses, with cosy wood burners, an Aga and open fires. Lots of public footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways nearby.

Share of one sitting room (there are two), kitchen and use of wifi included. Brand new washing machine and tumble dryer available for reasonable use. And there is a garage for some storage and extra space in the house, if this is needed and helps with some items.

Can provide bedding and towels (if required). The house is well kept, clean, with lovely furnishings.

I am a very youthful forty-something woman with space to rent out a room. I work in the media (working from home) and would need someone who works away from home full-time during the day, meaning no other homeworkers.

I also have two old cats who have the run of the house, so someone who is friendly and tolerant towards animals is an absolute must.
