En-suite Bedroom with King-sized bed

Our current lodger has just left after a very happy 2+ years with us, so we are looking for someone new.

We have a downstairs bedroom with an en-suite shower room. It has a king-sized bed, a TV, Wi-Fi, fridge and facilities for making light refreshments in the room. Although there is use of the kitchen for larger meals, and the washing machine. It has French doors which open onto a small garden terrace. There is off-road public parking next door to the house.

We have a cat and a nervous dog, which aren't allowed in the room but are around the rest of the house. There is a bus-stop closeby, but you may prefer to have your own transport as we live in the village of Downton. We are an easygoing, friendly couple, and we want anyone living with us to feel ' at home', whilst respecting your space too.

We are on the edge of the New Forest with immediate walking/cycling routes to enjoy in your spare time.

We are both self-employed, so we work varied hours.

We are looking for a professional, respectful person with a good sense of humour and a love of animals.

The room is available from 14th March 2026.
