Town centre flat with 2 double bedrooms, separate living room and kitchen/diner, spacious, high ceilings and lots of storage.

Both bedrooms are available (and as well as room rental we are willing to rent the whole flat as a whole unit - send message for more details if interested).

The flat is in a very convenient location in the centre of Malmesbury. Almost everything is just a few minutes walk away.

If you're someone who enjoys going out in the evening then it's very handy. No need to drive, or to have the cost or hassle of relying on taxis. On winter evenings there's no long walks home in the dark, or hanging around in the cold waiting for the taxi to turn up.

With a supermarket less than 50m away, there's no need to do a weekly shop for groceries. It cuts down on wasted food such as fruit, vegetables and salad that you may buy but not use in time.

It's so easy to pop out and buy what you need for meals you're preparing that day, taking advantage of things on offer and cutting down on waste. Of course there's a fridge and a freezer if you prefer to do a big shop each week.

On your doorstep are shops, restaurants, take-aways and pubs. There is a fantastic Italian Pizzeria across the street.

Within 100m is the town hall, which has a museum and a cinema next door that shows films on 2 or 3 nights per week. There's sometimes live music also as there is in a couple of the town's pubs.

The Old Bell is a minute's walk has just reopened and has a cosmopolitan bar with Jazz nights each week.

The Smoking Dog is a very popular pub and just a couple of minutes walk down the High street. Also on the High street is the Kings Arms that also does food.

On the doorstep is The Whole Hog pub, known for good beer and it also has a restaurant. Around the corner is another Italian restaurant.

Just behind the flat is Malmesbury Abbey, completed in the 12th century which then was the tallest building in the world after the Great Pyramid until its central spire collapsed! You can look over the Abbey from our flat roof garden.

Also just a hundred yards away is Abbey House Gardens, a famous garden that is open to the public and famous for its annual naturist days!

The sports centre is 10 minutes walk within the town. It has a swimming pool, gymnasium and sports hall where you can play badminton. There is also another gym also about 10 minutes away.
To get further afield there are bus stops around the corner with buses that go to Bath, Swindon and Chippenham, all of which have train stations.

The world music festival Womad is held every July at Charlton Park, which is a 25 minute walk from the flat.

If you work in Malmesbury the major employer Dyson is a 15-20 minute walk away. Hilditch is a 5 minute walk down the steps to the river, and the larger supermarkets such as Waitrose, the soon to be built Lidl, and the health centre are all about 15 minutes walk.

Bedroom 1
Is a lovely light room with an amazing view over the central square of the town and its 15th century Market Cross.
It's the perfect place to observe the town. During carnival week, you have the perfect spot to watch all the colourful procession go past.
The Market Cross square hosts a weekly market each Friday selling artisan and home made foods and other produce , and at various times of the year it has other events such as French market, Christmas market and so on.
It is a good sized bedroom with pine bedroom furniture.

It is a nice light room with the large window overlooking the town centre and historic Market Cross. It has a nice feature Victorian fireplace and there is a pine mirror above.

Bedroom 2 is a similar size to bedroom 1 (slightly more square). has a double bed and a large built-in wardrobe with mirror doors.

You have shared use of the spacious living room
It has a comfortable leather suite with three seater sofa and two electric reclining armchairs (cpmfortable enough to sleep in), large television, DVD player.
There is coffee table, occasional table with lamp.
Bookshelves with lots of books mainly on travel, philosophy and playing guitar.

Kitchen:
This is a fully stocked kitchen, with everything (utensils, pots, pans etc) you would need to cook most meals
