I work Monday–Friday in IT, I’m fairly tech-savvy, and I’m looking to rent out a furnished double bedroom from in my four-bedroom home in Marlbrook, Bromsgrove.

I’ve been taking in lodgers for about 7 years now, and most people tend to stay around two years (or longer).

Proper double bedroom with actual space

Large wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk & chair

Shared bathroom with just one other lodger (no queues for the bathroom!)

🏡 The House

The house is friendly, relaxed and drama-free. We can be sociable but are also very respectful of personal space.

My hobbies include board games, climbing photography and travelling.

A couple of people in the house are into cycling and climbing, so your welcome to join.

Big kitchen with loads of storage — you’ll get more than a single lonely shelf, I promise!

Large fridge/freezer with ice & water dispenser, breakfast bar, smoothie maker, and all the kitchen gear you’ll ever need. You genuinely don’t need to bring anything except food.

Excellent commuter location, just minutes from M42 and M5, with easy access to Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch and Worcester.

Barnt Green station – 5 min drive

Bromsgrove station – 10 min drive

Bus stop 3 mins walk

Tesco Express and a solid local pub within walking distance

Lickey Hills 5 mins away (great for walks, bikes, or clearing your head!)

Preferably employed (self-employed fine with proof of income)

No couples

No smoking indoors (outside is fine)

No large pets

Occasional overnight guests welcome (up to 3 nights a week)
