Double Room in Friendly Home – Cat Lovers Ideal

We have a spacious double bedroom available for rent in our home. The room comes furnished with a bed, mattress, and a large IKEA Pax wardrobe. You’re very welcome to add your own furnishings and decorations, hang pictures, wall-mount a TV, and generally make the room your own.

High-speed fibre broadband and driveway parking are included.

The house has a large shared kitchen, which you would share with the two live-in landlords and one other tenant. The available room shares a large bathroom with the other tenant, while the landlords have a separate shower room. There is also a downstairs toilet next to the kitchen for additional convenience.

We have five cats (one domestic short hair and four Savannah cats) who roam the shared areas. They are exceptionally friendly, playful, and enjoy attention. You’re of course welcome to keep them out of your bedroom and the shared bathroom.

Reduced Rent Option – Cat Sitting Contribution
When we are away, we would welcome help with general care of the cats. In return, we are offering up to £7.50 per day we are away deducted from the monthly rent. This is entirely optional but could provide a meaningful reduction over time for the right person.

We both work from home most weekdays and spend our evenings looking after the cats, using the gym room, playing pool or table tennis, or relaxing with TV or films in the living room. It’s a relaxed, tidy, and friendly household.

We’re looking for someone quiet, clean, and considerate – ideally a working professional – who likes cats and is happy to help keep them safely indoors. They can access the enclosed back and side garden areas, but must not be let out of the front door or porch (this is our one firm house rule).

The house is in an excellent location for commuting, less than five minutes’ drive to the motorway. Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, as well as areas of Birmingham and Worcester, are all within easy driving distance.
