Looking for a lovely housemate to share my two bed Victorian semi.

Room available from end of March

Double room fully furnished for one person only to rent. No couples or families sorry
Wall mounted rail, blackout curtains and blind, double bed + mattress, chest of drawers, bedside lamp, new carpets
Newly fitted bathroom shared with me, plus one downstairs loo
Garden for shared use, parking available
This is room only but use of all shared spaces, house equipment and furniture
Some loft storage available if needed but not suitable for someone with a tonne of furniture and stuff
Sharing with only one other person, myself the homeowner ☺️
I have a very friendly Little chihuahua who only barks if someone comes to the door. I would be willing to consider another small dog if they got on and were gully house trained and non destructive character

I’m looking for someone chilled, quiet and considerate as a housemate, I do all the cleaning but ask that you clean up after yourself and keep the room hoovered and dusted.

I am really used to sharing with others having lived around the world in various flatmate/houseshare scenarios, I’m into yoga, nature, travel, reading, art and design, interiors and fitness among other things :)

The room must be kept clean, hoovered and generally cleaned regularly please :)


I work a lot but like the house to be chilled, really sorry but I cannot accept Night Shift workers I’m afraid. And sorry no couples, this is for single occupancy only

Not really suitable for people needing to work from home due to space. I. e no space for a desk in the room or elsewhere in the house.

15 min walk into town
10min walk to Shrubhill station
2min walk to co-op supermarket
Ideally looking for three month agreement to start. If it’s not working out notice can be given sooner and extension after if it’s working is fine too

Deposit of £630 required, full written lodger agreement provided, full references are required from employer and/or former landlord
