Spacious light and airy double room available immediately in smart light two-bed flat just 10 minutes walk from Berkhamsted station making it perfect for commuting and enjoying the Autumn sunshine. In the room itself there is a double bed with ample storage space underneath, a small chest of drawers (happy to take them out if not needed) and fitted book shelves. There is a separate bathroom for exclusive use by this room, with a bath, shower and toilet.
In the rest of the flat is another bedroom with en-suite and a large kitchen/living room with a wraparound corner balcony. (I spend my time between here and my partner's flat so I'm only there half the time).
The kitchen/living room has wi-fi, a Smart TV, large dining table, washing machine, fridge-freezer, cooker, a sofa and lots of cupboard space.
It's just off the canal which makes for a lovely walk into town/to the station in the morning and is just 8 minutes from Waitrose, 10 minutes from Berkhamsted station and 30 seconds from the late-opening Shell garage on the High Street, very handy! There are lots of restaurants and takeaways nearby as well..
The flat itself is on the first floor of a two-story building and while there's only one designated parking space there's lots of free on-road parking all around.
I'm looking for a clean and tidy professional person to be my flatmate, preferably someone who works during the day and is respectful of other people's space. Happy to let out for one month minimum and then on a one-month's notice rolling contract each way. All bills such as council tax, TV licence, energy, wi-fi and water are included.
