Double room available in house with a garden!

We have a lovely double room available in our house share near Turnpike Lane!

The room is downstairs in the house, looking out to the side of the garden. It is furnished with a double bed, two wardrobes and a desk, it's also got a non working, but beautiful fireplace in it and lovely high ceilings!

The house overall is a spacious and nicely renovated Victorian property with a very good-sized, well-kept garden and patio, which we are looking forward to making the most of this summer. Inside, there is a big, modern kitchen/living room to hang out in with a large sofa (with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and a dishwasher), and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the house too. Of course there’s super fast fibre broadband too!

There is a downstairs toilet and upstairs there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath that’s nicely tiled, bright and well-kept, one of the other bedrooms has an en suite so there's never a problem with having to queue for the bathroom!

We are Anna, Sas and Danny and we all work in creative jobs. We're laid back and enjoy a few pints, nice food, and gardening. This is not a party house and we all value and respect having a peaceful home to enjoy. Of course friends are more than welcome over (once lockdown lifts!), and there's weekend fun but we try to keep week nights as chill nights. We have two cats in the house so unfortunately we can't allow any more pets. A fish tank or similar in your room is fine!

We have a small bedroom upstairs with a double bed and a wardrobe in it as a spare room for the occasional overnight guest if we wish and this is sometimes rented out to friends.

The house is within ½ mile (ten minutes walk) of Turnpike Lane Underground station and is in easy walking distance of the supermarkets, chemists and homewares stores in Wood Green. There is a park across the road and Lordship Recreation ground with its open fields, lake and nature reserve is only five minutes' walk away.

There’s a lovely pub at the end of the road called The Westbury. There’s plenty of great pubs and places to eat nearby on Green Lanes too – two of us have lived in the area for years!

The room is available now but if you need a couple of weeks that can be arranged too. 1 months deposit and 1 months rent is needed up front, there is no admin fee to pay. Notice period for the room is one calendar month from the rent date.

The rent for the room is £580pcm and the bills are not included in the rent and they come to £100 per person so the total is £680pcm; the house is fully double glazed. There is Virgin internet/WiFi too.

Street parking is available on the road outside but a permit will be needed from Haringey Council.
