AFFORDABLE accommodation offered in BARNET EN4 area, excellent opportunity for a Female preferred who is looking to live in a lovely home and is working from home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
• Hadley Wood British Rail is a 5-7 min walk
• Local bus at top of the road goes to Barnet High Street
• 5 min walk to bus stop takes you to Cockfosters tube

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady in her 80’s and lives in a lovely spacious 4 bedroom house with a lovely garden in Hadley Wood, Barnet. She has carers who pop in a couple of times a day, she spends most of her day in the living room watching TV.

She suffers from Dementia and is repeating a lot she is very alert and very inquisitive about what’s going on around her.

The ideal homesharer would be someone who is working from home and can be flexible if they can pop in occasionally to check that she is ok or make her a cup of tea if required. In the evening if they can cook her a meal and spend some time chatting with the householder.

Family/friends and carers visit & some relatives are popping in but there are still hours in between visits that she’s on her own and the family feel that extra companionship would be very beneficial.

ACCOMMODATION
Large detached 4 bed house with spacious garden
Downstairs large lounge, dining room kitchen, conservatory & toilet with sink
Sky TV in lounge & kitchen (different channels can be watched at same time)
Good BT Wi-fi
The Homesharer will have a large bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobes, garden views. Desk can be provided if needed.
Separate bathroom with bath / shower & sink/ Separate toilet

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised
