33yo resident doctor, making the move from SE>East

Hiya!

Looking for a one bed flat / a house-share with ideally only 1 other person, max 2 other people, with a living room and ideally en-suite.

I’m a NHS resident doctor in psychiatry working in Tower Hamlets, so looking for somewhere with good transport links to Whitechapel 🙏🏽 I’m hoping to find something ideally in Haggerston/Dalston/Peckham (ie on Windrush line). Open to Mile End/Bow/Walthamstow.

Looking to move between 20-26 July, and for a long term let ie at least 12 months.

I’m originally from up north (West Yorkshire), but have been living down south a long time and in SE for 6 years - have been very lucky to live with lots of great friends in that time, and am used to living in a home with shared values and overlapping interests.

I’m in a book club, like watching films/plays and finding local music events and gigs. I’m interested in cultural psychiatry and social justice movements and learning more about history. I don’t go out super often anymore but partial to a dance in a little club when the music is right👌🏽

I tend to work ‘in the office’/hospital 4 days a week and would have one non-working day at home, and also do some out of hours on call work at the hospital.

At home I would value a space which is cosy & clean and housemates who I can be comfortable with - would be up for some house chilling/watching films/shared meals, but also would need some downtime to chill on my own and would respect that everyone has their own lives and plans. In the week I tend to be up early so don’t usually have too late a night, on the weekend I like a lie in and am more up for a night adventure :)
