Friendly professional seeking long-term home

Hello!

I’m a friendly, tidy and responsible professional male (56) looking for a room in London, ideally in west or south-west areas, though I’m open to a range of neighbourhoods.

I work as a journalist and have been happily living in Wandsworth amid all its lovely green areas. Unfortunately after 16 years in my current house, my landlord is now selling, so I’m looking for a new place to call home.

I’m very experienced with house sharing and would love to find a friendly, relaxed household where people are considerate and easy-going. I’m sociable and always happy for a chat or shared meal, while also respectful of people’s space and routines.

Outside work, my interests include sport, music, travel, cooking, walking/rambles and books.

My ideal move date is 1 July, although I can be flexible for the right place. Budget is up to £850pcm including bills. Excellent references can of course be provided.
