House share, with like minded individuals
Hi, I'm Jamie, a full-time Finance Manager at William Morris Sixth Form, based near Barons Court.
I'm looking to move from September to somewhere closer to work, as I currently commute from Bermondsey. Having recently started a new role, I'd like to reduce my commute and give myself the time and flexibility to properly explore different areas of London before buying my first home.
My plan is to purchase a two-bedroom flat, but rather than rushing such an important decision, I want to spend some time finding the right area based on my commute, lifestyle and long-term plans. Renting somewhere closer to work will allow me to do that while also giving me a much better work-life balance.
I've been renting for several years and have an excellent rental history. I currently rent a two-bedroom flat on my own and am solely responsible for maintaining the property. My landlord retains one room for storage and occasionally requires access with prior notice, so I'm very used to looking after a home to a high standard and treating it with care and respect.
I'm financially stable, reliable, clean and tidy, and I take pride in looking after where I live. I'm happy to provide employer and landlord references, complete referencing checks and provide proof of income if required.
I already have my own furniture, so either furnished or unfurnished properties would suit me. Ideally, I'm looking for a one-bedroom flat within easy reach of Barons Court station or the surrounding area. It would also be helpful if the tenancy allows up to two occupants, as I'd like the flexibility for my partner to move in with me in the future.
I'm looking for somewhere I can genuinely treat as my home and take great care of throughout my tenancy. I'm happy to commit to an initial tenancy of 6–12 months, with the flexibility to stay a little longer if needed.
