Rural Rental Wanted - Whole Property

I’m looking for a rural doggy friendly home to rent — Not a house share**

Ideally somewhere with a little character and community, rather than completely remote. Think Tom & Barbara from The Good Life and you’ll probably understand the sort of lifestyle I’m drawn to!

I’m adventurous and flexible, anywhere up north, down south or in between location wise. I do like Surrey Hills, Sussex and Kent areas.

I currently live on a non-working farm, with chickens and a livery yard just down the lane, in a very intimate countryside village. I’m very used to rural living, animals, community life and the quirks that come with it.

I have a small doggy and he’s kind, super friendly with all dogs & humans and he is my plus one. He’s not destructive and I take him with me wherever o go.

I work part-time (I procure a full time salary) as a therapist while completing my MSc in Psychotherapy, and I also companion a lady with early-onset dementia, helping her continue socialising and enjoying the things she loves now that she can no longer drive.

In return, I’d be very happy to offer companionship hours for an elderly person, pet sitting and general animal care as part of an arrangement, where appropriate.

I’m looking for somewhere peaceful, homely and ideally with a sense of community — rural, but not necessarily remote, and within reasonable reach of everyday amenities.
