Friendly ex-Londoner seeks short let

Ciao, it's a me Gualti!

Hey, I’m Gualti! I've previously lived in London for 6 years (and the UK for 15), but I’m now on a Sabbatical travelling / back in Italy with family and coming to London for a visit in late August / early September.

I’m looking for a short let from around 24 August until 1 September, potentially extending to 6 September. I’ll mostly be living out of a suitcase and I'll grab some living essentials from my storage unit near Bow. Ideally I’d love a furnished room with decent space in East London and if possible somewhere I can safely keep a bike, but for such a short stay I’m pretty flexible! :)

I’m taking some time off work (management consultant) and know London very well. I have a soft spot for East London, particularly Bow, Mile End, Victoria Park, Hackney Wick, Stratford and Hackney, although I'm open to somewhere further afield if it's a nice place and well connected.

I’m pretty active and sociable: I love cycling, trail running, swimming, rollerskating, beach volleyball, dancing and generally exploring London. This trip I’m planning to catch up with friends, get back to some of my old activities, attend events, cycle around London, explore a few places I never quite got around to visiting, and spend some time outdoors (Epping Forest, Thames trail, beaches). I also love cooking, reading, music, singing and learning about psychology, languages and the environment.

I’m vegan, tidy, clean and respectful, have plenty of experience sharing homes, and am equally happy doing my own thing or hanging out together sometimes.

Preferring a spareroom over hotel/airbnb to share a space with fellow Londoners, enjoy a London home feel again, cook, safely store and use my bicycle and better manage costs ;) On my last trip in April, I shared a home near Roman Road.
