Professional seeking room in Wimbledon

Hi I'm Sam, a 29 year old civil servant looking for a new home in Wimbledon. I'm currently living near Wandsworth Common and I fancy a change and a move to Wimbledon.

I can move in from 1st September - 10th October.

I'm looking for a single or double room with a desk or space for a desk, up to 4 housemates and up to 1250 a month in rent.

My preferences: I'm looking for a friendly, clean and relaxed house with a big enough kitchen with ideally a dishwasher. I'm not a party animal and I'm happy with a quiet and calm house. I'm a heavy sleeper so I'm happy to live with people who do go out a bit more than me. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I do like to spend time with my housemates cooking, walking, running, exploring London or for the occasional pint or pub quiz.

I tend to spend 3 days a week in the office and 2 days WFH. I tend to go to the gym 3 mornings a week (I'm an early riser!) and run 1-2 mornings a week. I also play badminton, enjoy hiking outside London, walking in London, and trail running. I often spend weekends exploring London. I'm an avid cook and I enjoy making food from all over the world - and I love nothing more than cooking for the house every so often. I enjoy board games and I'm slowly building a nice board game collection. I tend to keep to myself in the week but I'm very open to spending time with housemates on a weekend or for the occasional drink or pub quiz in the week.

I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I've lived in a variety of houseshares over the years and I've learned that the key is to be respectful and communicate well with everyone you live with. I treat every house like it's my own and I put effort in to understand what others in the house need from me for them to feel respected and comfortable.

People who have lived with me would say I'm: organised, good with organising house bills/finances, a passionate cook, quiet, clean, is someone who often plans ahead, is proactive around the house, is interested in getting to know my housemates, enjoys talking about current affairs round the dinner table, is not very green fingered, not very good at DIY, is good natured and friendly.
