Short-term let, good access to Manc, 30y/o prof

Looking for somewhere to stay short term for 4-8 weeks in Manchester. I'm looking to move to the city, so need a stepping stone / launch pad for a short period while I set myself up with a long term home and job.

Ideal move in date: 11th March, but flexible

I would be an excellent lodger - very clean and quiet but also happy to socialise when available. I would expect to be out for most of the day working and following up opportunities in the city, but would work from home at times as well. I am 30 years old, engineer by background, hoping to take advantage of the professional and social opportunities of the big city!

My requirements:
Good access to the city centre by public transport
Furnished room
A desk for laptop work
Functional home - no damp, broken bits or big stains please!
