I need a nice room :)

Hi! I'm looking for a lovely house on a quiet street. I currently live in Hove, but the landlady is selling the flat (booo!) so I am hoping to find a new place not too far from this area.

A bit about me:

• my ideal move-in date: 8 October 2026 but can be flexible

• I'm employed full-time at a London university, commuting to the office 2 days a week.

• I'm a clean and tidy person, I eat mostly vegan/vegetarian food, so living with similar people would be ideal

• Reading, yoga, and hiking are my main hobbies, I'm generally quiet and introverted

🔎 What I’m looking for:

• a house with working radiators, not space heaters

• double glazed windows

• not an electric shower but a normal one

• no cats, dogs, etc

• would prefer an upstairs room, not interested in living on the ground floor, basement, attic, or rooms with a skylight.

• lovely housemates

• a lodger agreement or an individual tenancy agreement
