Kojo & Chinda looking for a 2 bed London home

Hi, we’re Kojo and Chinda, two friends looking for a two bedroom flat or house in London, with a combined budget of up to £2,100 per month including bills. We’re looking to move from 1 November, with some flexibility for the right place.

We’re looking for somewhere we can properly call home. Somewhere clean, comfortable and well looked after, where we can settle, make the space our own and enjoy living in it.

A little about us. Kojo is a postgraduate student at SOAS studying Medical Anthropology, alongside working professionally as an actor, writer and musician. He’s lived in North London for around six years and has built his work, studies and life here. Outside of work and university, he’s usually cooking, running, at the cinema, wandering around a gallery or heading to a gig. He also spends a fair amount of time on Hampstead Heath playing saxophone under his favourite tree. Playing outside in nature has become something of a ritual.

Chinda is an artist with a real love of fine art, exhibitions and martial arts. Creativity is a big part of her life, and she loves discovering new work, ideas and spaces around the city. She brings a thoughtful, creative energy to a home and, like Kojo, appreciates having a space that feels calm, welcoming and lived in.

Between us there’s usually something creative going on, whether that’s discovering an exhibition, catching a film, cooking something good, finding a new part of London or simply having a good conversation at home. We’re sociable without needing the house to be constantly busy, and we both appreciate having our own space and independence.

We’re mature, considerate and house proud, and would treat wherever we live with care. We like a home that feels relaxed and has a bit of character, somewhere you can cook a proper meal, put a film on and unwind at the end of the day.

We’re ideally looking for a self contained two bedroom flat or house with a decent living space and good transport connections. North or Central London would be ideal, although we’re open to other areas for the right place.

We’re not expecting the London dream of white wooden floors, a beautiful bay window, tropical plants and a Smeg fridge, although we certainly wouldn’t complain. Mostly, we’re looking for a good home that we can look after and enjoy living in.
