Outgoing gal after a 6 month stay whilst studying

Hello! I'm El, 30, and will be moving from Manchester to London from September '26 to February '27 (6 months) to carry out a journalism course! The course will be in Twickenham, but I'm looking to base myself in Clapham/Peckham. I'll be in the office mon-fri 9-5 and will likely be studying in the evenings too - so I'm looking for quite a chill home environment, but still eager to be sociable and make new friends!

A little about me: Ive worked as a medical writer for 6 years and decided I fancy a career change! You can usually find me dancing at gigs, being artsy at life drawing classes, or trying to shave some seconds off my 5km PB at Parkrun. I love to explore and travel and I'm excited to mooch about London trying out new cafes, bakeries, and markets. I like to keep active (hiking/running/swimming) and see my pals regularly (gigs, beer gardens, alfresco nibbles, comedy nights, pub quizzes). Im a classic extroverted introvert - love to be sociable and keep busy, but also like to decompress and chill out when I come home! I get on best with those who are friendly and upbeat :)
