Autistic Looking for Quiet Studio Place

Greetings, my name is Tinkerbell, and I am a 25-year-old Clinical Psychology graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London.

I am currently looking for a studio flat or self-contained accommodation in the local area (Ashford, Staines, Runnymede). As an autistic person, I experience sensory sensitivities and find unpredictable noise, bright lights, and strong smells challenging. Having my own quiet space is therefore important for my wellbeing and ability to function day-to-day.

I am a calm, respectful, and conscientious tenant who does not smoke, drink, or host parties. I value a peaceful living environment and keeping my home clean and well maintained.

Professionally, I have worked as a researcher and have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). In my current house share, where I have lived for the past four years, my landlord entrusted me with managing household bills and liaising with housemates, reflecting the level of responsibility and trust I have built as a tenant.

My current tenancy is due to end soon, and I am therefore looking for a long-term place to call home. I would be grateful to hear from anyone with a suitable studio flat or self-contained accommodation available.
