Double room wanted

Hey, I’m Ben, I’m 26, pretty easy-going and generally keep it quite chilled during the week.

I’d really like to find a house where people actually get on and become friends, rather than just awkwardly co-existing.

I’m in the office 3 days a week and work from home the other 2, so ideally looking for a room with enough space for a desk.

I’m looking for somewhere close to the city centre so I can easily get the train to work, although I’m also open to somewhere a bit further out (preferably more south of the city) if there’s somewhere to park my car.

I’m always up for a trip to the pub (especially if there’s a good quiz going on), getting some food, or staying in with a good film/tv show. I enjoy cooking, so would be nice to have people around who are up for an occasional dinner together. I go to the cinema quite a lot, so anyone who would fancy joining me would be a bonus. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places and try to get away a couple of times a year if possible. A big fan of standup comedy too, so always on the lookout for any events to go to.

I can be a bit quiet when I first meet people but once I’m comfortable I’m definitely more sociable. I also really value having a bit of time to myself, so a good balance would be perfect. Basically I’m looking for people who are up for hanging out but also happy doing their own thing.

I’m clean and tidy and would definitely want to live with people who are the same.
