Looking at Ancoats, Manchester
Hi there!
I'm moving to Manchester early and starting an MA at Manchester University in 2026. I'm also working towards a PhD proposal in Social Anthropology on Specialty Coffee :)
I've been house-sharing in Newcastle with professionals since 2020. I think I get along better with openly communicative people. I have been living with people much older than I am, so I very much prefer that now too.
I'm not into partying or clubbing. I enjoy being a homebody, so feeling comfortable at home is especially important [for you and me]. I have been described as quite "domesticated"... So, I'm confident in taking care of the place. I may seem shy at first, but I warm up to people quickly enough. I wouldn't feel offended at all if you'd said outright you need your own space. I appreciate honesty.
Ideally, I'd like to be living somewhere central. I fell a little head-over-heels for Ancoats when I visited, would love to live there. Current place requires 1 month notice.
Let me know if you think we would get along, and feel free to ask me anything!
