Looking at Ancoats, Manchester
Hi there!
I'm starting an MA at Manchester University in September. Also working towards a PhD in Social Anthropology on Specialty Coffee.
Happy to move early for somewhere suitable!
Ideally, I like living centrally. I loved Ancoats when I visited Manchester and would love to live there.
I've been house-sharing with professionals since 2020, I share the council tax too even as an undergraduate. I think I get along better with people who are upfront, about anything.
I'm not into partying or clubbing. I am a homebody, so I enjoy being at home. It's very important whoever I live with is comfortable with that. Reading, cooking, baking, films and theatres are my preference over dancing to thumping music.
I have been described as quite "domesticated"... So, I'm confident in taking care of the place. I may seem shy at first, but I warm up quickly enough. I wouldn't feel offended at all if you'd said outright you need your own space, I'd actually appreciate the upfront honesty.
Let me know if you think we would get along, and feel free to ask me anything!
