Sociable professional looking for a fun new home

Hiya!

I'm Nellie, 28, English, and I'm coming back to London after 3 years galivanting in Australia!

Ideally, I'm looking for sublets in July and then something long-term from ~13 August (off on holiday 31/07-10/08), but I can be flexible for the right place.

My maximum budget is £900pm, including bills. I'm looking for a double room, although it doesn't need to be big. A good size kitchen and living room are also important to me.

Having already tried out North London, I'm aiming East this time (Hackney, Dalston, Bethnal Green, etc.). I like living somewhere active, in amongst it - close to nice pub(s), cafes, and shops, with decent transportation links.

Because of settling back in after so long, I'd really like somewhere that feels like a home. I enjoy being friends with my flatmates, whether that's going to the pub or having a nice lil dinner party, whilst respecting our own lives. A queer household would be a big plus, and I love living with pets (especially cats).

A little bit about me: I'm a pretty outgoing person who also values my own time, equally happy at a party or on a solo museum trip - although I am especially fond of pub quizzes (will be on the hunt for a new local!). I enjoy sports (playing and watching), travelling, and going to gigs and the theatre.

Work-wise, I'm in ticketing at the Globe theatre. It's full time, including some evenings and weekends, and completely onsite so I'll be out the house most days (but that doesn't mean I'll be a ghost!).
