Hi folx,
My name is Neal, and I identify as queer and genderqueer/enby (they/them). I am putting this upfront as I have had rooms refused on the basis that I am part of the LGBTQ+ communities.
I am looking for a room to rent or buddy up in the Oval/Vauxhall/Kennington area.
My budget is up to £1,000 ish (inc bills), and I would prefer a household that doesn't have a closed-door attitude and respects boundaries.
In terms of me, well, I am originally from Northern Ireland and have lived in London for the past 11 years. I have a background as a queer historian and practising lawyer. I work for an advice-giving charity and work a 4 day week of which one is from home). Outside of work, I enjoy theatre, cinema, swimming and travel.
