Looking for a room in Southampton / Whiteley area – moving late September

Hi! I’m Daniel, 29, currently living in Bristol and looking to move to the Southampton/Whiteley area at the end of September.

I’ve recently accepted a position with NATS as an Air Traffic Controller, with my training starting on 2nd November in the Whiteley/Swanwick area. I’m therefore ideally looking for somewhere within a reasonable commute of Whiteley, although I’m also very open to Southampton and the surrounding areas.

I’m looking for a room in a friendly, clean and sociable house/flat, ideally with people around a similar age. I’m happy living somewhere where everyone does their own thing, but I’d also really like a house where people are up for the occasional chat, meal, drink or watching something together.

A bit about me: I’m a fairly easy-going and considerate person, and I like keeping the place I live clean and tidy. Outside of work I’m quite active and have recently got back into cycling and fitness. I also enjoy cooking, chess, reading and generally trying out new hobbies. I’m equally happy having a quiet evening at home as I am going out and being sociable.

I’m currently working as a Frontend Developer, but will be leaving that role to start my career with NATS. I’m looking for somewhere that I can hopefully settle into for the longer term rather than just somewhere temporary.

Ideally:

* 📅 Moving in around the end of September
* 🛏️ Double room preferred
* 🏠 Clean, friendly and relaxed household
* 💷 Ideally around £700 per month (can be flexible)
