Friendly professional seeking a new home!

Hello!

I’m looking for a modern, bright and light-filled home from mid-May, as my current landlord has sold his flat.

A bit about me: I’m a queer brown woman in my mid-30’s working as an urban anthropologist/historian in an architecture practice. My work can be fairly intense, so I really value coming home to a calm and nourishing space. And that doesn’t mean I’m looking for silence - chats and laughter are very much appreciated! I work from home one day a week, so I’d be keen to check whether my technical desk can fit in the room or someplace in the flat that doesn’t disturb anyone.

Outside of work, I’m involved in a few community-focused projects, including a sauna co-operative in south-east London and an affordable housing build in north-west London. I enjoy being part of thoughtful, nourishing community-minded spaces - so attempt to create a supportive, nurturing home environment too.

In my downtime I love going for cinema, theatre, music gigs, and cooking - especially for friends and flatmates. Also enjoy hosting the occasional low-key gathering when time allows.

I’m clean, tidy, and very respectful of shared space. Happy to get a cleaner every fortnight too. Also good with fixing minor things around the house and doing admin related to it.
