Creative buddy up for chilled wholesome home!?

Hi, hello all!

I’m on the lookout for a place to call home and an extra house buddy that’s hoping to find the same values in a house share too!

A little about me ~ I spend half my week gardening, and the other half metalworking in my studio. A lot of my life is also taken up currently living on a boat cruising the canal - however I’m looking to be closer to work and be in a solid space that I can thrive from as I feel boat life is getting in the way of my creative goals!

It would be ideal if what we both hope for in a home - two sharers, maybe a 3 bed house so that the third room could be used as a space for creative endeavours/a desk space for yourself or also you own craft related projects, and a garden for growing my potted flowers and herbs from and eating outside - a wood burning stove is always a bonus for the wholesome countryside vibe!

I have an 8 year old rescue dog, she’s super sweet and gentle, as well as playful and a total dweeb! She’s not a very “in your face dog” and prefers to mainly keep herself to herself and being the goodest gal - so you would have to be someone that enjoys having a pet friend sleeping around the book of home.

I’ve seen some lovely characterful homes up for rent, and it would be a dream to have a space that is calm, affordable and enjoyable to come home to.

In my spare time I like to go walking, cycling, creative anything but main interests would be heritage crafts, live music and I can be a bit of a foodie now and then. I’m environmentally minded, would like to get my routine back of yoga or an exercise class and I'd consider myself pretty wholesome in general! That said, we don’t have to necessarily share all the same interests and live in one another’s pockets.. just someone that shares good energy and respect/a want for a lovely home to come back to. I’ve lived in communal houses before, where we share a rota for keeping on top of things - we are all adults now so I’m up for good communication where it’s needed and consideration for general house jobs that require maintaining our sanctuary!

The areas I’m looking in are generally Frome, Warminster, Mere, Wincanton, Shepton, South of Bath, etc.. but with the right person we could house hunt together in this process and see what comes available?! I do not have a pressure constraint to move out, and it would be good to find the right place.
