28M WFH professional seeking large room

Hello! I'm Dean, a 28yo looking to rent a room from November for a year, perhaps for longer. I’m currently based in Dundee and looking for a change of scene and everything Edinburgh has to offer.

I’m hoping to find a spacious room in a friendly, relaxed flat-share. I’m easy-going and always happy to chat, watch a film together or occasionally head out for a drink, while also enjoying my own space and respecting other people’s. I’m generally fairly quiet and would suit a sociable but non-party household.

I work full-time from home as a Quality Assurance Manager for LiberEat, a small tech company that helps other companies make sure food allergens are properly declared on food labels in order to help keep food safe for those with hypersensitivities. I studied at Aberdeen and Essex and am originally from Kent and Oxfordshire.

As I work remotely, I'm looking for a room with enough space for a proper desk and some storage. I have an established work routine (9-5:30) and am considerate about noise and use of communal areas.

My budget is around £800pcm including council tax, although I could stretch slightly for the right room and household.

Outside of work, I'm into films, gaming, read, photography, history, and cooking. I've also recently returned to weightlifting after a long hiatus. At home I'm relaxed, considerate, and I tidy as I go along, and I'm happy to contribute properly to keeping share spaces clean.

I’d ideally like to live with other professionals anywhere between early-20s to mid-30s, although compatibility matters more than exact age. I’m open-minded about location within Edinburgh provided the room and transport links are suitable - though as central as feasibly possible would be an enormous plus.
