Friendly couple looking for a place to call home

Hello! Iona and Chris here, we’re an easy-going couple in our late 20s / early 30s looking for a new home around Bangor/North Wales as we relocate to the area this summer.

I’ll be starting psychotherapy training in Bangor in September whilst working part-time alongside it, and Chris works remotely as a data analyst for an environmental conservation charity.

We’re both lovers of nature, mountains and creativity, and are really excited to build a life in North Wales. Chris is especially into trad climbing, mountaineering and wild camping, and is currently working towards his Mountain Leader qualification, so being close to the outdoors is a huge draw for us both.

I’d describe myself as thoughtful, calm and open-minded — definitely more drawn to meaningful conversations, creativity and peaceful living than big nights out. I’m queer and neurodivergent, which I think contributes to my accepting and gentle nature. My interests include psychology, health and wellbeing, creativity, animals and being outdoors.

Chris is naturally friendly, curious and adventurous. Outside of work he spends most of his time climbing, camping, exploring mountains or relaxing with friends. He loves learning from people and hearing new perspectives, especially around the environment, travel and life in general.

As housemates, we’re both considerate, tidy and easy to live with. We like home to feel warm, peaceful and grounded, whilst still enjoying occasional shared meals, chats or visits from friends.
