Freelance Professional Seeks Friendly Houseshare
Hello! I’m Louise and I work from home as a freelance writer. I'm also training part-time as a psychotherapist, which means I commute to London once a week and see clients once a week in my placement.
I'd like to be in walking distance of Hove, Brighton, or Aldrington train station. I've been in Hove for two years and really love the area.
As a housemate, I'm clean, quiet, and like a balance of socialising/having my own time. I'm not a party person but love connecting with others over deeper conversations, cups of tea, and shared meals if we develop that friendship.
In my free time, I dance Lindy Hop, attend jazz jams, and walk to the sea for peace of mind. I have a partner who I see a couple of times a week, at his place or mine.
I love to cook big (vegetarian) meals and listen to a wide range of music (jazz, blues, rock, hip hop, ambient). I also make and mend my own clothes and love classic literature.
I'm really sensitive to any sort of mould or damp, so this is something I'd like to avoid. I'm also wary of homes that are exclusively electric, as I haven't had a great experience with storage heaters over winter.
I’d love to live with other postgraduate students or professionals and potentially make friends if we really get on. I'm happy to join as a lodger or sign a proper contract.
I want to move over the summer, ideally in July, but can be flexible.
