Junior doctor & DPhil student looking for a home!

Hi, we are Chloe and Mike!

I (Chloe) will be starting at the John Radcliffe as a doctor in late July 2026, so we’d be looking to move somewhere in Oxford around mid July. Mike is a DPhil student in robotics.

At the moment, we’re looking for a place to live with an open mind. I’ve been a lodger before whilst at uni, and it’s worked out really well for me, so if we found the right person/people we’d be open to renting a room/sharing someone else’s home, so long as there’s space for the two of us. We’re also looking for 1-2 bedroom flats within our budget. Preferably we would be within about a 30 minute cycle of both the uni and hospital.

The best way to describe us is probably that we’re quietly sociable - we love sharing food, or a cup of tea and a chat, but also value our own space and downtime. In our free time, we both enjoy walking, and cooking together. We are also both musical - I love choral singing, and Mike plays the piano and the trombone. We also like and would be very happy to live with most pets :)

I (Chloe) will be working a mixture of normal daytime hours and shifts, so sometimes will be working nights and weekends. Mike is much more flexible, and would ideally need a space to work from home. Let us know if we sound like a good fit for you!
