Museum Educator seeking room in N. London
I’m Effie (she/her) and I'm looking for a new place to live for August or early September. I'm originally from London, but spent a lot of my life in the US- I've been back here for a few years now and my network of friends and loved ones is in North London. My ideal spots are: Haringey, Finsbury Park, Walthamstow, and surrounding areas.
For work, I'm a museum educator: leading behind-the-scenes tours and presenting workshops and shows at the Natural History Museum. I am also a musician (I love to (quietly!) play jazz guitar), occasionally go out swing dancing, and play lots of football with my grassroots team. I'm also into tennis, cycling around town, and I run a queer history website about 1920s and 30s music.
I'm tidy, reliable, considerate, and communicative, and have lived in shared houses my whole life- I would be thrilled to find a friendly place to live, ideally with other queer people and/or creative women. A sense of community is a big plus- I am not much of a partier but am really happy to have people around for dinner, games, music, etc. I don't drink or smoke and I'm a vegetarian, but I don't mind what others do... and I don't have pets but I do love living with them.
