New postdoc looking for a room!

I’m a recent maths PhD graduate starting a postdoc in Oxford Computer Science Department, and I’m looking for an en-suite room in a friendly house or flat not too far from the centre/university, planning to move in by the end of August.

My budget is around £950, with some flexibility for the right place. I’m responsible, tidy, and have plenty of experience sharing flats.

I’d love to live somewhere sociable and warm, where housemates sometimes cook, watch something, chat, or do the occasional trip/activity together, while also respecting each other’s space and routines.

Outside my research interests, I enjoy hiking, exploring new places, music, books, art, and I’m looking forward to trying new sports. I’m vegan, so I’ll have more cooking in common with veggie flatmates, but I’m very relaxed and not fussy.

In my most recent flat, we had a lovely mix of people from different backgrounds, and we made lasting friendships. I’d love to find something similar in Oxford.
