Friendly professional looking for a room/buddy up

Hi! I’m 28 and moving to London at the end of July for a new role in finance in Canary Wharf. I’m currently wrapping up a PhD in Physics and looking for a friendly, clean, and relaxed house share with a good commute into work.

I’m quite an easygoing person and would love to live somewhere that feels comfortable and social without being over-the-top. I enjoy having a catch-up in the kitchen, the occasional drink or movie night, but I also appreciate personal space and quiet time.

Outside of work, I’m really into creative hobbies — painting, sewing, clay, digital art, anything hands-on really. I also like getting outdoors, exploring new places, and balancing busy weeks with quieter evenings in.

I’m tidy, organised, and respectful of shared spaces (I genuinely enjoy cleaning when stressed, which probably works in everyone’s favour). I’ll mostly be working from the office during the week. Some weekends I’ll be away visiting my partner, and occasionally he may stay over.

Since I’m new to London, I’m hoping to find more than just a room — ideally a home with people who are friendly, considerate, and easy to live with.
