PhD student looking for a room!

Hi everyone,

I'm a Physics PhD student looking for accommodation in Durham from the beginning of June 2026 onwards. A temporary room from June-September 2026 would be ok, but I would like to stay in Durham longer than that (not sure exactly how long, 6-12 months maybe), so longer contracts or non-fixed-term contracts would be good too.

I would prefer to stay in a 1-bed or studio apartment, although I would also consider 1 flatmate if we get along!

I'd like to be within a 30 min walk from the train station.

I'm a clean and tidy person, just working on finishing my PhD at the moment. For hobbies, I love getting outdoors and nature volunteering.
