Looking for a single/double room (500 pcm)📍Norwich

Hi, I’m Natalie.

I’m looking for a room primarily in Norwich, though I’m also open to other areas in Norfolk and the wider East of Anglia. I would also consider certain areas of London, as my family lives there.

Looking for
Budget: Up to £500 pcm (including bills)
Room type: Single or double
Work: Part-time online at present, with the possibility of moving to fully office-based work

Main priority
A good-quality mattress (not too soft)

A big plus
A suitable workspace
Access to basic kitchen utensils

Heating
I’m comfortable with temperatures around 18–19°C during the day, and lower at night, but I’d really appreciate having the option to increase the temperature to around 20–22°C when needed (for example, after showering). A small heater in the room would be ideal if possible. I’m very mindful of energy usage and wouldn’t want to significantly increase household bills. I’d just like the option.

Lifestyle
I follow specific dietary recommendations (at least for the next couple of months) and cook daily (usually 1–3 times a day). My cooking is simple, tidy, and quick (up to 30 minutes), mainly porridge, fruit, and vegetables, with no strong smells or greasy food.

I don’t smoke or drink and generally live a calm, balanced lifestyle, so I’m looking for a quiet home. That said, I’m friendly and sociable when the atmosphere is right, and I always respect others’ privacy.

Move-in date & length of stay
Move-in date: After 13 February
Length of stay: Flexible and open-ended. I’m happy to start short-term and see how things go, with no fixed maximum term. I’m also comfortable giving 2 weeks to 1 month’s notice if needed.

Parking
I drive a car, so a parking space is required.

References & reliability
I’ve previously rented a room in London and can provide references from my former landlady and a bank statement if required.

I always pay rent on time — this is very important to me.
