Postgraduate - Still at Uni - Professional

Hi, I’m Vimal.

I’m looking for a room, house share, or a possible buddy-up in or around Teignmouth, Dawlish, Newton Abbot, or anywhere with easy transport to Teignmouth.

I work in Teignmouth as a support worker and I’m also doing a part-time MSc in Human Neuroscience at the University of Plymouth. I previously completed my Master’s in Psychology at Plymouth, so I travel to Plymouth for university when needed. I also have friends there and mostly stay with them, where we split bills and live quite socially, so I’m hoping to find something similar around here too.

I’m mainly looking to cut down rent and live with nice, friendly people rather than spend too much money on accommodation as my tuition fee is all that matter to me the most 😃. I’m currently paying around £550, so anything affordable around that or cheaper would be ideal.

I’m open to:

* a room in a shared house
* a room share if it works well
* buddying up for a 1-bed or 2-bed place
* joining someone who already has a place
* finding somewhere with my batchmate/friend if there is a suitable 2-bed option

A bit about me: I’m friendly, respectful, easy-going, and sociable. I enjoy swimming, cooking, reading, writing, maths, neuroscience, learning languages, food, travel, and good conversations. I also write and translate in Malayalam and have published books, so I do enjoy quiet time for reading and study as well.

I’m usually busy with work, university, and study, but I’d love a home where people can chat, cook, share meals sometimes, and feel comfortable around each other. I’m not looking for anything fancy — just a peaceful, friendly and affordable place with decent people.
