Looking for a Double / Wfh Some Days

Hi all!

My name is Jen, I'm 31 and I moved from Germany to the UK at the beginning of 2023 to start my job at the University of Bath (lived in Durham and Oxford for a year each during my studies as well!)

I'm looking for a new flat / house share (4 people max) in Bristol, or a buddy-up to find a two- or three-bedroom place together, as rents in Bath are getting ridiculous and I only have to be in the office two days a week. As I work in Bath, I'm looking for somewhere that's within 30 minutes walking distance from Temple Meads. My partner also lives in Bristol but can't quite part with his flat yet, so I tend to spend most weekends out and about in the city spending too much money on good food.

I'm a down-to-earth person, easy to talk to (in English, German, Italian, rusty French, poor Spanish or half-forgotten Latin) and always up for socialising, movie nights, pub quizzes and cook-offs. I have a few eccentric hobbies like Historical Martial Arts (think big longswords) and can nerd out about linguistics and anything Lord of the Rings related for hours. I'm not much of a party animal or night owl although I do enjoy the odd trip to the pub or bar - but you'll usually find me in bed by 10.30 pm to be honest.

As I work from home three days a week and am also an avid gamer, I'm looking for a room big enough to fit a proper desk, and a good internet connection. Ideally the room wouldn't be furnished as I've got everything apart from a wardrobe and bed at the moment and am happy to talk myself into an IKEA trip.
