Professional seeking Double in London

Hi, I’m Jonny, 33, looking for a room in London from 1 July 2026.

I’ve spent the last 3 years working and travelling abroad, and after previously living in London I’m now looking to settle back in and have a more permanent base again.

I’m ideally looking around Hackney / East London as its where most of my friends live, but honestly pretty flexible as long as it’s well connected and the house is a good fit.

I work in finance and I’m mostly WFH, although I’ll probably be in the office 1–2 times a week.

I’m sociable and like a house where people get on and occasionally do things together, but equally I’m independent and appreciate having my own space. Looking for somewhere friendly and relaxed rather than a party house or somewhere everyone stays in their room 24/7.

Outside work, I’m into football, tennis, golf and padel, and generally enjoy keeping active, travelling and getting outdoors.

As a housemate, I’m tidy, easy-going and respectful of shared spaces, and always reliable with rent and bills.

Looking for:
• Move-in: 1 July 2026
• Budget: up to £1,250 pcm
• Areas: Hackney ideally, but flexible for anywhere with good transport links
• Household: friendly, sociable professionals preferred
• Open to: existing house shares or buddy-ups
