31M, product eng, looking for long term flat

I’m a 31-year-old professional software/product engineer moving back to London after taking half a year out to travel. I work five days a week in the office, so home is generally a place for me to wind down and relax.

I’m not much of a drinker, but I do prefer cooking my meals at home, although it’s been a while since I’ve been able to do this properly. I like to keep a clean, tidy and quiet place, with the occasional exception as you’d expect.

Outside of work, I’m really into running and HYROX, so I train quite a bit during the week. I’m also hoping to transition a bit more into triathlon this year and hopefully do my first event. I also enjoy a bit of padel. I used to play a lot and recently got re-addicted to it after a long break 🥲

I also enjoy playing instruments. I have a digital piano and a couple of guitars that I currently keep in my storage unit, but I’d love to bring them back into a flat and practice some old songs from time to time.

I’m an easy-going and respectful flatmate. I’ve been renting and sharing places for the greater part of the last 10 years, and I’ve never had any bad experiences compared to some of the stories I’ve heard from past flatmates!

I like to respect people’s privacy and personal space, and I’m always up for a chat or doing something together, but I’m equally happy doing my own thing. I’m always willing to do my part to make sure everyone feels safe and happy at home, and would hope for the same in return.
