Relocating to Bristol! 29, Professional

I’m Georgie, a 29-year-old professional relocating to Bristol for a new job as a lecturer at UWE Frenchay Campus.

Since I’m completely new to the city and don't know anyone in the area yet, I’m really keen to find a home with a warm, social flatshare as well as a calm cosy home to unwind after work!

I’m clean, tidy, and very respectful of shared spaces and downtime. Having previously worked in emergency services, I’m fully understanding of shift work, irregular hours, and the need for a peaceful home when recovering from a busy day or long shift.

I’d love a home where we do spend some time together rather than just passing in the corridor, but also understaning of the need for time alone. My idea of a great evening includes cooking dinner together, opening a bottle of wine, board game nights, crafts or watching a film. Out and about, I love exploring local pub gardens, wine bars, and the occasional night out—though I definitely lean more toward chilled evenings and fun weekend plans these days!

Ideallly I would love some space for a comfortable desk/work-from-home setup for prep days, as I may be working remotely a couple of days a week in my new lecturing role.
