Looking for a house/flat share

I’ll be moving to Edinburgh for a job at the Royal Infirmary, so the ideal location would be EH16 (around the hospital). I’m looking to house share with other working professionals, preferably of a similar age, who share a similar outlook and would like a friendly and sociable home environment.

As I’ll be moving to Edinburgh without knowing many people in the area, I’d really love to find a house share that feels cosy and welcoming, rather than just being somewhere we each come home to and disappear into our rooms! It would be lovely to get to know my housemates, have a chat over dinner, watch something together, or head out for a drink now and then. I’m also hoping to find people who might share some of the same hobbies/interests and would be up for doing things together from time to time.

Of course, I’m also respectful of everyone having their own space and routines — I’m not expecting constant socialising! I’d just really like to find a nice balance between having our own lives and having a genuinely friendly home.

I’m also clean, tidy and considerate, and like having a cosy, comfortable home. I’ll also be doing the occasional night shift, so I’d be keen to live with people who are similarly respectful of each other’s routines.
