27M professional looking for room in sociable hous

My name is Joshua and I'm moving to London from Scotland at the end of August to start a new job as a renewable energy engineer. I've never lived in London and the idea is terrifying so moving into a welcoming and sociable flat is ideal!

To briefly describe myself, I'm very extroverted and love socialising with new and different people weekly. I am known for having too many hobbies but the ones I mostly keep on top of are mountaineering, running, climbing, any other sport, board games, reading and painting.

I've lived with folk before using spareroom and made some incredible friends with people who were once strangers. I understand there is an adjustment period and like to make the process as easy as possible. I'm naturally very tidy, clean, good at looking after plants and considerate to other people's space so I believe the transition to living with a complete stranger can be smooth.

It is very important to me that I can get along with new housemates and create new friends. Unfortunately, I am based in Edinburgh and do not have time to come to london to meet in person before August, hopefully this isn't a problem and something can be arranged virtually :)
