PhD student looking for a room!
Hey! I'm Holly, and I'm starting my PhD at Glasgow University in October. I lived in Glasgow between 2017 and 2023, and have since been living in Nottingham for work, but have decided it's time to move back to my favourite city! I'm looking for a place to stay, ideally anywhere between Thornwood and the West End, or Strathbungo/Shawlands area, or somewhere near the new Govan bridge would also be good. I'd prefer to look for furnished flats/houses and 1-2 flatmates. I'd also be looking to move in ideally sometime between October 1st-4th. Heads up, since I will be a student again, I won't be eligible to pay council tax, so I would need a flatmate/s who is also a MSc/PhD student or someone who is comfortable paying the council tax without me. I'm quite tidy, and I like to keep myself busy at the weekends. I'm very social, and am leaving a flat where I've been good friends with all my flatmates, so would love to live with people who are keen to socialise too (whether that's the odd night out, occasional brunches, or going for a run together!).
