Looking for a nice 1-bed flat for myself

Hi, my name is Shiqi (pronounced Shi-tzi). I’m looking to rent a 1-bed flat or a studio (ENTIRE PROPERTY, NOT A ROOM IN A SHARED FLAT) in London. I'm pretty much open to any area in Zones 1-3. Absolute max budget £1650pm including all bills. Preferred move-in date Jul-Aug 2026.

I'm currently doing my master's degree in developmental psychology at KCL. I'm planning to start a new job or a training course in the mental health field after graduation in January 2027. For full transparency - despite that I heavily prioritise career opportunities in London, I MIGHT end up having to move away for a non-London job/course early next year. Therefore, I am ideally looking for a place that can accommodate BOTH SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM lets. I am a clean and respectful tenant who likes to keep to myself. I'm looking to take care of the property as my new home.

- FULLY furnished
- Double bed
- Washing machine (NOT shared with other residents)
- Decent sized storage spaces (for clothes, empty suitcases, etc.)
- A dining table and/or a desk with chairs
- Good transport links to central London

💡Ideal-haves:
- Dishwasher
- A decent sized kitchen
- Gas hobs (my most prized wok doesn't work on induction 🥲)
- Spacious living area
- Walking distance (< 10min) to nearest supermarket
- Located on a quiet residential street
