Looking for a studio or 1 bedroom flat

Hello, my name is Maia and I’m looking for a studio or one-bedroom home with a garden in Bristol or the surrounding areas.

After living in London for over 16 years, I feel ready for a new chapter and a lifestyle closer to nature and community.

I run my own small business as a somatic energy practitioner and teacher, offering group workshops and one-to-one sessions both online and in person in studios.

My work is flexible and continues to grow, and I spend a lot of time working quietly from home, studios or in cafés.

I currently receive Universal Credit support, which means my rent is always covered reliably regardless of business income. I have never missed a rent payment and can provide excellent references from previous landlords.

I’m a calm and respectful tenant who treats my home as a peaceful sanctuary. Because of the nature of my work, I keep my space very clean, organised, and well looked after.

I also have two small, well-behaved dogs who have been with me since they were puppies. They are now 13 and 7 years old, fully house-trained and very gentle companions.

Outside of work I enjoy nature, conscious community spaces, movement practices, and quiet evenings. I’m not a smoker, not a party person (sober for over 4 years), and generally live a peaceful lifestyle.

I’m hoping to find a long-term home for at least 6–12 months, ideally somewhere with access to a garden and green spaces.

My move date is flexible, with 1–2 months’ notice, ideally moving before May–June 2026.
