Dog-friendly quiet warm en-suite hard floor

I am an Assistant Professor at UCL looking for a room to rent from September 2026. My primary home is in Budapest, and I travel back frequently.

I have a small (5 kg) hypoallergenic, non-shedding Coton de Tulear dog who is very friendly with people, dogs and cats. I usually go into the office two days a week, when she would attend doggy daycare, and work from home around three days a week.

I am looking for a bright, spacious, quiet and well-insulated room, ideally with an en-suite bathroom. Good, flexible heating is important to me, and I am very happy to pay separately for any additional gas or electricity I use. As I am allergic to dust, I would prefer wood, laminate or tiled flooring rather than carpet, although this is not essential.

I would particularly like to live in a clean, safe, green and quiet neighbourhood with good public transport, where I would feel comfortable walking home in the evening.

Ideally, I would prefer to share with one other person, preferably a woman, or with a family if the room offers a reasonable degree of privacy; for example, a separate top floor. A reasonably spacious kitchen would also be a plus.
