Postgrad looking to set down roots for Sep 2026

INTRODUCTION:
My name's Natasha and I'm a 23-year-old postgrad at UOB. I start my PGCE in secondary school teaching this September, so I'm looking for long-term accommodation in Birmingham (specifically Selly Oak, maybe Edgbaston).

I would like to move in on Sep 1st. I am mildly flexible on this date. I can move in a few days later than this, but not earlier. If you're looking for someone to move in ASAP, I'm not the one.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
- LGBT-friendly household
- Pre-furnished (bed + desk + ample storage space for clothes - I need all three at an absolute minimum.)
- Secure bicycle storage
- £650 (inc bills) is my absolute max, but budget-friendly options are preferred and will be prioritised
- Postgrad/professional household, ideally!

WHO AM I?
Modern and Medieval Languages graduate, aspiring fashion philosopher, pretentious film critic™.

I'm a metalhead with gothic tendencies who loves a glass of red wine after a long day. I'll be working full-time with my PGCE and doing late-night marking/writing essays many evenings, so while I do enjoy socialising, I'm not looking to live in a party household. I'm certainly an outgoing person, but I'm not the type of person to bring the party back to mine. Home is where I go to relax and get a good night's sleep.
