Seeking a room to rent,

I am a 55 year young man, currently looking to be in Bury St Edmunds area and seeking a double room ideally, but open to what is on offer.
Generally out of the house by 8am and returning around 6pm to cook dinner in the week.
I like to be able to walk to local shops, pubs etc, but have a car.
I am ideally looking for a quiet, peaceful life, though it’s great to chat and socialise with interested people.
I can cook and i’m keen to keep things clean and tidy.
Open to non biting pets 😉
